To redesign the eCommerce website to attract a younger audience and optimise for key brands. Importantly to add the ability to offer complex sales across multiple ranges and styles giving the visitor an exceptional shopping experience. The new site needed to be a total upgrade, not only in terms of visuals but also in user experience, search engine friendliness and site speed.
Bell and Sons gave a clear brief on the design; it should be big, bold and stand out.
The new website design follows the trends within the fashion industry of high end men’s wear. First 4 Websites used all of the existing data from the old site, including products, content and images to populate the new website.
The progression of design continued smoothly throughout, starting with the Home page and continuing with inner pages, such as products, account and cart. The website was launched with an online press release, 10% off code for all new orders and a strong social media campaign. The time scale for launch was exact as January sales also fell within the client’s preferred launch; the site launch was successful and the first order was received within one hour of this.
